How Important Final Speech Topics Is
If you have ever planned a speech before, there is a good chance that you have included a lot of important, but seemingly unimportant topics in your program. However, you might be wondering just how important those topics really are and if they should be included at all in the main body of your speech.
In order to determine the importance of these speech topics, you need to ask yourself a few questions. The first question you need to ask yourself is 'What type of audience is this going to be?'
You can't simply include topics that are too broad for the audience you have decided on. When you have decided on the type of audience, the next thing you need to do is determine the kind of questions the audience might ask at the end of your speech.
For example, if you are speaking to an auditorium full of people who just graduated from high school, your speech would probably need to focus on the importance of maintaining high grades in school.
